Biography
Akash Muralidharan is a film composer based in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India, specialising in narrative-driven and emotionally focused scoring.
His journey into music began at a young age through an arranger keyboard, but his connection to film scoring developed later through a deep interest in storytelling and the psychological impact of music. While traditional academic paths did not resonate with him, music became a singular focus, a discipline that combined structure, emotion, and meaning.
His perspective on film music is rooted in its ability to shape how audiences feel and understand a story. Rather than simply supporting visuals, he composes to reveal subtext, enhance emotional depth, and reinforce the psychological experience of a scene.
He has completed (RSL Level 5 extended diploma for creative industries), having progressed through portfolio-based advancement, and continues to develop his practice in composition and production.
